The City of Edinburgh Council’s Local Area Coordination Team (LACT) is hosting an event for Scottish Learning Disability Week 2026. The event will take place on Tuesday the 8th of September 2026, 11am-2pm @ Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edinburgh. This year’s theme is “I Am Here… to Be Seen” – celebrating visibility, inclusion, contribution, and meaningful participation for people with learning disabilities within their local communities.

This is a fair-style community event that will have organisations that support access to meaningful community activities. There will be showcases and interactive activities to help to connect individuals with learning disabilities to free or low-cost opportunities available across Edinburgh.
